One of my favorite gold coins of the global gold standard era.  Struck by a peaceful noncombatant in the middle of World War One, Peru still has a lot of gold and silver that keeps coming out of the ground.  It had even more in 1917.  The alpaca on the reverse coat of arms is great for kids especially if they were born 100 years later in 2017.  The same weight and purity of a British Pound coin of the same time.

Only 277 in all grades at NGC and PCGS together.
