Struck within a year before the pivotal Battle of Tours in 732 AD where Charles Martel defeated the Arab armies of Hisham in Southern France, stemming the advance of Islam that had powered across North Africa, up through the Iberian peninsula and into the nicer parts of Western Europe.  AH 114 is probably the year of dinars struck the same year as that battle, but this coin would might have already been in the pockets of soldiers in Hisham's army.
